the fifth neurhythmics release is a compilation of befriended artists, and this is reflected by the different interpretations of the individuals to what the labels sound is about. juergen provides the a-side with >common sense< a vocal-snippet driven house-track, that once again underpins his sound-aesthetics of having it sound live and mixed on the fly, straight out of the machine. the flip-side could not start off any better. quite possibly a future classic, >signature< by mike binary, has soul and emotion literally squeezed in between each of the effortlessly programmed beats, and has become one the favourite tracks at the neurhythmics hq to ever been put on the label. last but not least, >no other< by the dirty soul project (you will know these guys, but we were sworn to secrecy) firmly pulls the hand brake and slows things down to just over 110 bpm. this doesnt mean that this very hypnotic number isnt going to work in the early morning slots…au contraire, actually...

the ep reminds us why we love techno so much, fans of mills, hood, dehnert and dettmann will adore. a perfect cross over between detroit and berlin signature sound.!! the title track hits us with a heavy metallic stab which quickly lock us into the groove as the underlying bass tones start to twist and turn our bodies without self control into a must have dancefloor friendsy an essential chord-driven deep techno cut, keeping it minimal yet packed full of funk.

the third and final remix package for mathias kadens masterpiece album -studio 10- comes along with two reworks of mathias vakant label mates onur Özer and dewalta. onur Özers >hâre remix<, a massive, bass driven rework for kadens >chazz<, takes the track to a deeper, more jazzy level, until it fades out with a dreamy yet abstract melody after 11 minutes and counting. david koch aka dewalta takes on >ikenga< (an african god of time, success and achievement), which is surely kadens most played track of the album. david maintains the acidic vibe of the original, adds his very own funk and sends the track back to the dance floor.
